Educated at Kent State University and the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, Dave has had a thirty+ year career in academia and private industry. He is most widely recognized for his work on how people perceive themselves and others, particularly within the context of interpersonal relationships and social judgments. His academic work primarily examined the "Self" and "Identity, " focusing on how individual motivations influence the way we process information about our social worlds. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and is frequently cited in major psychology textbooks. Dr. Lopez also has specialized training in the development and psychometric validation of multilingual survey instruments. He has served as a Methodological Consultant & Grant Reviewer for State and Federal Agencies, including the Dept. of the Navy, US Depts of Education and Health & Human Services. He currently serves as the Chief Research Officer at Strategia Analytics, LLC, a management consulting firm specializing in bridging the gap between high-level business strategy and daily operational execution.
John is Vice President of Systems Engineering. He is an experienced systems engineer and entrepreneur who has spent most of his professional life troubleshooting and reverse engineering black box software systems. During his 22 years working for the US Navy, he did the testing and analysis for the changeover from copper to fiber optic communication systems and developed and managed software-based control systems. As a result of his work on control logic for automated damage control systems he was awarded a US patent for an automatic, self-repairing control system.
Al is the Vice President of Data Analytics. His experience includes leading transformative initiatives to support change, integrating Alignment, Sales and Operations Planning, and Lean processes to ensure a consistent company-wide approach to performance improvement. He is the developer of Theory L, the concept that success in major organizational transitions, such as Lean transformations, requires not just cascading ideas and techniques through every level of an organization, but recruiting and training leaders at every level to ensure engagement. He is the author of The Human Side of Lean Enterprise and The Lean Production Warehouse, and numerous articles on Lean, training, and safety.
